Mini Map Sidebar

Firefox用のExtention、Mini Map Sidebarが素晴らしい。ドラッグ&ドロップするとGoogle Mapsをサイド・バーでどんどん表示してくれる。僕はGoogle Mapsを使いまくる人なので、これは重宝しそうだ。



当然ながらサイドバーにより本来のブラウジング画面は狭くなるが、ワイド画面のPCなら問題ないだろう。何と言っても操作が簡単なのがよい。とにかく機能が豊富で、
  • Google Maps本体同様、マウスホイールで簡単にズームイン･アウトできる
  • HTML内にインラインgeotagsを見つけると勝手に地図を表示してくれる
  • KMLファイルのドラッグ&ドロップにも対応
  • Googlesightseeing.comのリンクに対応
  • 右クリックで、その場所に関係したAmazons, ebay商品、Google Newsなど調べられる
  • 右クリックで、Mapをブログに埋め込むためのiframeコードを表示してくれる
などなど、他にもいろいろ機能があってさらに拡張中の模様。

導入はここからできる。NoScript Extentionを使っている場合は、サイドバーではなく別タブで一旦開いてみて、禁止domainを解除指定してからサイドバーを開くと良い。

Address/Location points are stored locally for later use.
